John Edwards endorsed Senator Barack Obama in his presidential bid later in the evening Wednesday, May 14. Luckily for him, he's not taking many chances considering Obama virtually has the nomination locked up. The legendary rising blue star Barack Obama will take hold the nomination really soon now, needing just over 130 delegates to fully secure the nomination. There are very few states and few pledged delegates left in the process, and it is virtually impossible for him to lose at this point.
There has also been a lot of speculation about Obama's Vice President. John Edwards along with John Kerry, and Bill Richardson are the most likely candidates. It is typically thought that Hillary and Obama can't get along long enough for a democratic white house victory, and it is highly unlikely he will select her for Vice President. Why would people want to vote for "Change" and "More of the same" at the same time?
